Announce Community Partnership

Nature Coast Soccer Club has officially entered into a community partnership with the professional soccer team the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Randy Adams, President of NCSC stated, “This is a tremendous opportunity not only for Nature Coast, but also for the soccer community of Citrus County as a whole. Partnering with the Rowdies makes sense in our vision of offering a distinctly different, high quality soccer experience in Citrus County.”
Jeff Brake, VP of NCSC added, “Partnership with the Rowdies provides unique training opportunities to players and the opportunity to be seen and be officially associated with a professional soccer club. It also allows our coaches and staff access to clinics, coaching education, and other special events that will be of benefit to our club.”
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are an American professional soccer team based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Rowdies were the first professional sports franchise in the area and remain one of the most recognizable and well-loved brands in soccer. The modern club was founded in 2008 and first took the pitch in 2010. In 2016, the Tampa Bay Rowdies announced that they would compete in the United Soccer League . In 2018, the sale of the team to the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball club united the two professional sports franchises under one umbrella. The Rowdies play their home games at Al Lang Stadium on St. Petersburg’s downtown waterfront.
Nature Coast Soccer is a non-profit youth soccer organization located in Citrus County, Florida that offers play for recreational and competitive teams for youth ages 4-18. Our organization conducts their activities with the help of soccer enthusiasts, volunteers and community support. Competitive tryouts for U9-U13 begin May 11, 2019 for the October thru March season. Our recreational sign ups are held in early August.
